MMG is making a comeback, according to Wale, with new songs from him, Rick Ross, and Meek Mill.
Many people remember MMG’s dominance, which was powered by the combined efforts of Meek Mill, Rick Ross, and Wale. While the label was ultimately derailed by internal strife, that does not mean that the band’s commitment to the cause has waned. Not at all. Indeed, Rozay, Wale, and Meek continue to represent the label, and it appears that there may be a revival in the horizon.
Wale recently teased an intriguing development about the Maybach Music Group’s next move on Twitter. Wale revealed that himself, Rick Ross, and Meek Mill all had new songs on the way when an inquisitive fan questioned about the label’s future. While he didn’t say whether any of the new songs will be collaborative, we can only hope that at least one reunion will take place.
Wale’s teaser appears to indicate that new albums from himself, Meek Mill, and Rick Ross will be released this year. It’s not totally shocking, given the fact that Ross’ Richer Than I’ve Ever Been is set to drop soon. Meek Mill has also been slowly working on a follow-up to his 2018 album Championships, which may feature a new JAY-Z collaboration. We’re excited to hear what the skilled spitter has been up to since his last album, which was released a few years ago. Wow, that’s insane.
Check out Wale’s statement below, and let us know whether you’re looking forward to hearing new songs from the MMG trio. If so, whose album are you most looking forward to hearing?
