Nas has announced the release of his new album, “King’s Disease 2,” on August 6th.
Nas has a history with sequels, having released Stillmatic and The Lost Tapes 2 in 2001 and 2019, respectively. Now he’s announcing the impending publication of King’s Disease 2, which he’s been working on for a while.
Nas will release his fresh new album on Friday, August 6th, according to a report from NME. Despite the fact that little information about the upcoming project has been released, NME did reveal the majestic artwork, which is far more simple than its predecessor. It’s unknown whether Nas will reunite with Hit-Boy, who produced the Grammy-winning King’s Disease in its entirety.
All we can do at this point is guess on where the famous lyricist may go next. Nas’s latest album, King’s Disease, was largely considered as one of his finest in a minute, and for all intents and purposes, he’s been on a tear. Given that the previous installment has already established a stellar reputation, it will be fascinating to watch how he approaches this sequel. Perhaps we’ll see him reunite with some old buddies — perhaps even a JAY-Z duet, given their recent collaboration on DJ Khaled’s “Sorry Not Sorry.”
One thing is certain: a new Nas album is always welcome, especially given how consistent he’s been recently. Check out the stunning cover art for King’s Disease 2, and keep an eye out for the complete project on August 6th. Are you looking forward to Escobar’s next release?
